On June 19, we opened the doors of our first store in the city of Barcelona, and… you wouldn’t believe what unfolded inside.
It wasn’t just a party.
It was a whole tribute.
A tribute to a city that inspires us.
A tribute to the Olympic summer of ‘92, a memory that stayed with us.
We kicked things off with a quiz on Barcelona ‘92.
The very first ones to get the answers right won limited edition T-shirts,
and everyone who came around for a visit left with a gift.
But above all, these words were stamped on all our hearts:
Siroko i Barcelona. Amics per sempre.
Siroko and Barcelona. Friends for life.
Then, music filled the air:
Local talents like the The Tyets performed live with youthful energy, while
El Legado de Peret took us back to 1992 for nonstop dancing.
All of this while enjoying some Asturian cider and northern-style snacks to celebrate this new beginning.
And, amid Olympic quizzes, gifts and limited edition T-shirts, something dawned on us:
Siroko is not just growing. Siroko is connecting.
Connecting with people, places and memories that are still alive.
From Asturias to Catalonia. From coast to coast. From heart to heart.
This wasn’t just a store opening.
This was a tribute to who we were before, who we are now, and who we want to become.
This was a reminder of an event rooted in peace and unity, two core values that are more important now than ever.
So, this is no ordinary store.
We have been inspired by the thousands of volunteers that participated in the Olympic Games of ‘92.
We don’t just want to be in Barcelona.
We want to get involved, collaborate, and leave a mark.
